Semi-automated. Precise. Reliable.
Special version designed for
integration beneath a VFFS machine
The Kremers automatic clipping machine type 60KM-R clips already filled and sealed bags produced by VFFS machines. The clip provides an attractive finish and highlights your product at the point of sale. An optional labeling unit further enhances the product’s perceived value.

The clipping machine type 60KM-R is characterized by its flexible and robust design.
To ensure optimal integration into existing packaging systems, the machine features a particularly low-profile design and can be positioned underneath standard VFFS machines. Thanks to its mobile and compact construction, operation and installation are especially easy.
Operating Principle
The filled and sealed bag is transferred via a chute from the vertical form-fill-seal (VFFS) machine into the clipper cassette.
The rotary carousel of the clipping unit begins to rotate, transporting the bag to the clipping station. Once there, a photoelectric sensor triggers the start signal and initiates the clipping cycle. During the next rotation step, the bag is moved to the discharge position. The finished bag then slides onto the discharge conveyor.
The rotary carousel is equipped with multiple cassettes, enabling a continuous clipping operation and allowing several bags to pass through the cycle simultaneously. This results in a significant increase in processing efficiency.
Areas of Application
The Kremers automatic clipping machine type 60KM-R is used to enhance the visual appeal of products. For example, flat bags gain additional stability and can be displayed upright on retail shelves to attract customer attention.
The machines have been used for many years to enhance a wide range of products, including:
- Confectionery
candies, fruit gums, licorice, chocolate lentils, dragees, pralines, chewing gum, toffees, marshmallows, etc. - Bakery
cookies, pastries, rusks, waffles, cake slices, muffins, croissants, puff pastry products, etc. - Snacks
nuts, crackers, popcorn, rice cakes, tortilla chips, snack mixes, etc. - Hardware/non-food items
toy figures, novelty items, modeling clay, small kits, etc.
Machine configuration
- Carousel can be configured with 4 to 8 cassettes.
- Cassettes can be mounted and removed without the use of tools.
- Cassette format can be adjusted easily and flexibly to accommodate different bag sizes.
- Speed is preset at the factory according to customer-specific requirements.
- Start signal is generated by a photoelectric sensor, allowing autonomous operation without electrical interfacing with the upstream packaging line.
As a result, the machine offers a high degree of application flexibility.
